Printing for clubs and associations follows the whole club year: the notice for the annual general meeting, the flyer for the village fête, the poster for the tournament or quiz night, the flag outside the clubhouse and the juniors' kit. Whether you run a gymnastics club, a football club, a brass band, a choir or an expat association in Switzerland, the pattern is similar: small to medium quantities, a budget the committee has to approve, and material that should last several seasons. Autumn brings the annual dinner and the St Nicholas party, and next year's programme needs printing too.

What clubs and associations need

• Flyers for the fête: A6 or A5 is enough for the programme, date and directions. Recycled paper works for letterboxes; matt coated paper looks better on a restaurant counter. Classic flyers come with a downloadable template.
• Posters for tournaments, concerts and raffles: posters in digital and offset printing can be ordered from a single copy, ideal for the handful you need in the village shop, the sports hall and on the community noticeboard. A3 indoors, A2 or larger on the festival ground.
• Hoist flags and hand waving flags: a printed hoist flag, for poles with or without an outrigger, makes the clubhouse visible from afar. Hand waving flags go with supporters to matches and parades. They don't replace the embroidered banner used for ceremonies; they spare it for everyday use.
• Sponsor banners: banners for crowd barriers hang along the pitch or the festival barriers and carry your sponsors' logos. Rectangular banners are also available for fences and façades.
• Kit and sportswear: jerseys, running shirts and hooded jackets for adults and juniors, plus fan scarves for the stands. Before ordering personalised kit, collect everyone's size in one list.
• Membership cards: plastic membership cards last far longer in a wallet than paper ones, with optional hot foil. Use them for partner discounts or entry to home games.
• Ballot papers for the AGM: for committee elections and votes, folded ballot papers on recycled paper keep each vote private. Flat ballot papers come in A5 to A3.
• Tickets and raffles: admission tickets in A7, A6, A5 or DL for the annual show or concert, plus rolled raffle tickets and raffle boxes.
• Event essentials: printed beer table covers turn festival bench sets into advertising space for the club and its sponsors. Reusable cups with your logo complete the bar.

Practical tips for clubs

• Only date what needs a date: put the year on flyers and posters, not on flags, banners or roll-ups. That way the more expensive pieces stay in use for several seasons.
• Collect sponsor logos early: ask for vector files (PDF, EPS or SVG) and have each sponsor approve the proof before printing. Our guide to banners, flags and fixings helps with sizes and mounting.
• Outdoors, weatherproof only: paper posters belong behind glass or under a roof. On the festival ground, use all-weather posters with film coating, or banners.
• Make volunteers easy to spot: with bright T-shirts in one colour and lanyards carrying a helper badge, guests find someone to ask straight away.

Is it worth it for a small club?

Yes. Many products can be ordered in small quantities, posters even from a single copy. Compare two or three quantities in the configurator: the unit price falls as the quantity rises, but only order what you will actually hand out.

Can you make our embroidered club banner?

Our flags are printed, not embroidered. They are made for everyday use: hoist flags at the clubhouse, hand waving flags for supporters and beach flags for tournaments, with your crest or logo in full colour.

Can we show the committee a quote?

Prices are visible in the configurator at any time, VAT included, and can go straight into the budget. For a complete package, such as new kit, flags and banners for an anniversary, we are happy to prepare a quote.
