Printing for medical practices and therapists

Printing for medical practices is about working tools: the appointment card filled in by hand at reception, the letterhead for reports, the window envelope, the carbonless pad for receipts and the poster in the waiting room. That applies to a GP practice as much as to a dental practice, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry or a veterinary clinic. What matters here is less visual effect than legibility, paper you can write on and a consistent look from the door sign to the business card. You decide the content; we take care of size, paper and printing.

What practices need

  • Appointment cards: appointment cards need paper that is easy to write on. Our appointment cards in A6 or DL are printed on offset paper and carry your logo, address and phone number, with fields for the date and time.
  • Business cards with an appointment field: in the Swiss size of 8.5 × 5.5 cm, a business card fits any wallet. Printed on both sides, it carries the name and speciality on the front and the next appointment on the back. For the side you write on, choose offset paper without lamination.
  • Letterheads: A4 letter paper with logo and header, on offset, natural or recycled paper, for reports and correspondence. If you print letters in the office, test a sample in your own printer first.
  • Envelopes: DL envelopes with the window on the left or right, to match the address field in your letter template, plus C4, C5 and C6/5 envelopes for documents that should not be folded.
  • Carbonless forms: carbonless sets in pads, 2 or 3 part, in A4, A5, A6 or DL. One copy goes to the patient and one stays at the practice, for receipts or equipment on loan, for example.
  • Notepads with your logo: pads with a glued cover sheet from A7 to A3, with a template, for reception notes, physiotherapy exercise sheets or information to take home.
  • Waiting room posters: show opening hours, holiday closures, the team or new services on posters from a single copy, which can be replaced as often as needed. For lasting decoration, there are framed posters.
  • Information leaflets: a roll-fold leaflet in DL format presents services, team, directions and opening hours, and fits standard leaflet holders.
  • Practice sign: door and company signs in plastic, metal or glass show name, speciality and floor at the building entrance and at the practice door.

Practical tips for your practice

  • Writable, not glossy: anything filled in by hand belongs on uncoated offset paper. Ballpoint ink sits badly on lamination and gloss paper and smudges.
  • One look for every document: the same logo, colours and typeface on business card, appointment card, letterhead, envelope and door sign. Our guide on designing a business card people keep has ideas, and our design service can create the whole set.
  • Calm notices: a few large posters that can be read from a chair work better than many small ones. Matt coated paper reflects ceiling lights less than gloss.
  • Several languages: do your patients speak German, French, Italian or English? Check in the configurator whether several language versions can be combined as variants in one order.
  • Children's corner: colouring books and coloured pencil sets with your logo make the play corner in the waiting room more welcoming.
  • At year end: a wall or desk calendar with your logo thanks patients and referring colleagues and stays visible all year.

Frequently asked questions

Can appointment cards be filled in easily by hand?

Yes, as long as the paper is uncoated. Our appointment cards are printed on offset paper; for a business card with an appointment field, choose offset paper and skip lamination and varnish on the side you write on.

Which envelope suits our letterhead?

It depends on where the address sits in your letter template: DL envelopes come with the window on the left, with the window on the right or without a window. For unfolded A4 documents, use C4 envelopes.

Can we reorder small quantities?

Yes. Keep the approved file and your chosen configuration, and reordering appointment cards or carbonless pads takes only a few clicks. The price for every quantity is shown before you order.
