Printing for estate agents and property managers
Real estate printing, from flyers to site boards, follows a property from the first spadeful of earth to the handover of the keys: the site board on the plot, the fence banner showing a visualisation of the development, the ‘For sale’ sign on the balcony, the sales brochure for viewings and the keyring for the new owners. Estate agents, property managers, developers and general contractors need small runs for each property, yet a look that stays the same from one property to the next. Owner-occupied flats by the lake, a first letting in the suburbs or a chalet in Valais: here are the printed items that work in real estate and the right material for each job.
What estate agents, property managers and developers need
- For sale and to let signs: for a sign that hangs on a balcony or garden fence for a few weeks, a lightweight fluted board is the practical choice, in A3 or large format.
- Site boards: for a board that stands for the whole construction period, with visualisation, client, architect and sales contact, a rigid aluminium composite panel works best.
- Hoarding banners: banners for construction fences turn the hoarding into advertising space for the future flats, clearly visible to passers-by and drivers.
- Sales brochures: an offset-printed brochure in A4, A5 or square format presents location, floor plans, specification and photos. Matt lamination or a soft-touch finish gives it a premium feel.
- Presentation folders: folders with flaps in A4 or A5 hold floor plans, price list and reservation form, with hot foil stamping or embossing if you wish.
- Business cards: in the Swiss 8.5 × 5.5 cm format, with a soft-touch finish or hot foil stamping for the upper end of the market. See our business cards.
- Neighbourhood flyers: with a flyer in A5, A6 or DL you look for properties in the area or invite people to a viewing. A print template is available for this flyer.
- Open days: roll-ups at the entrance and in the show flat explain fittings, floor plans and the contact person, and they go up in moments.
- Office signs: door and company signs in plastic, metal or glass show visitors who you are as soon as they arrive.
- Key handover: a house keyring with your logo is the small gift that stays after the move and reminds people of you next time they search.
Practical tips for property print
- Full-resolution visualisations: for a site board or a hoarding banner, the image from the online listing is not enough. Ask the architect for the original visualisation file and check its quality before you fix the layout.
- Readable from a passing car: no more than three pieces of information, offer, property type and contact, in large type with strong contrast. A QR code leads to the listing but never replaces a clearly readable phone number.
- Landscape brochures: floor plans and panoramic photos look bigger in A4 landscape. Matt coated paper keeps plans and text free of glare, while gloss makes photos stand out.
- A folder instead of a reprint: the brochure presents the project, the sheets in the folder describe each flat. If a price changes or a unit is reserved, you reprint a single sheet. Self-adhesive business card pockets hold your card in the folder.
- One layout per sign type: set a fixed layout for the for sale sign, the site board and the flyer. For each property, only the photo, details and contact change.

Frequently asked questions
Which material is best for a for sale sign?
For a few weeks, a lightweight fluted board is enough. If the sign needs to stay up for months or on an exposed facade, a rigid aluminium composite panel is the sturdier choice; for large areas, choose a banner. Our guide Banners, flags and outdoor signs covers sizes and fixings.
How big should a site board be?
It depends on the reading distance. The configurator offers standard sizes from A2 and, for the white aluminium composite panel, a custom size. Make the lettering large enough for the project name and contact to be read from the street.
What goes into a sales brochure?
Usually the location and surroundings, floor plans, specification, photos or visualisations and your contact details. Prices and availability are better placed on a separate insert that is easy to update.
